Use EPF as one component of the retirement picture. The EPF rate is not a permanent promise and must be verified for the relevant financial year. The EPFO CBT recommended 8.25% for FY 2025-26 in its March 2026 meeting; this page therefore treats 8.25% as an editable planning assumption rather than a universal current rate.

Inputs such as employee/employer contribution, pension components, wage ceiling, transfers and withdrawals can materially affect actual EPF accumulation. This page does not attempt to model every payroll rule.
